What is OINP?

Ontario is Canada's political and economic center, making it one of the most popular provinces for many migrants. Major cities such as Toronto and Ottawa offer employment opportunities, innovation, dining, and entertainment.

But what immigration programs does the province have?

The OINP nominates people with the skills and work experience that Ontario's economy needs. In Ontario, there are several ways to qualify:

1. Job offer

Foreign Worker

Skills in demand

2. Express entry category

Qualified Francophone Worker

3. International Graduates

4. Business flow

How do the OINP lottery and scoring system work?

Unlike the Express Entry draw, which is based exclusively on your CRS score, OINP can be based on the score and/or occupations most in demand in the province.

What happens after I get an OINP nomination?

If you apply for PR through Express Entry's OINP, 600 points will be added to your CRS score if you obtain a PNP nomination. This will guarantee an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence in the next round of federal invitations.
