Express Entry Draws June 2025
In June, there were 6 Express Entry draws, including two under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), inviting a total of 6,000 candidates to apply for permanent residence.

Federal News
PGWP Eligibility Update June 25, 2025
Canada has updated the list of eligible fields of study for PGWPs in non-degree programs:
- 119 fields added, 178 removed, now 920 total
- Applies to study permits submitted on or after Nov. 1, 2024
- Those who applied before June 25, 2025 remain eligible under the list at that time
New Wage Threshold Effective June 27, 2025
As of June 27, ESDC has raised the minimum wage threshold for the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) across nearly all provinces.
- This new threshold applies to all LMIA applications received on or after June 27, 2025.

Recent changes:
- PEQ (Workers & Graduates) suspended until Nov. 30, 2025
- Group Sponsorship of Refugees suspended until Dec. 2027
- Skilled Worker Program (PSTQ) to reopen in July 2025
New Brunswick
608 ITAs issued in June across 3 categories. The province received 1,500 additional spots, raising its total 2025 quota to 4,250 (including AIP).
Prince Edward Island (PEI)
On June 19, 52 ITAs issued. Notably, the first business invitation of 2025 was included.
Manitoba
June 12: 36 LAAs issued under Skilled Workers Overseas stream. Minimum score: 613.
5 candidates had active Express Entry profiles.
Ontario
OINP resumed on June 3 after a 4-month pause. 3,719 ITAs issued across 10 draws.
Highlights: strong focus on Northern Ontario and the REDI pilot for rural/regional workers.
Alberta
June 3: 36 ITAs issued to health professionals under the Express Entry-aligned Dedicated Healthcare Pathway. Cut-off score: 60.
