What is the Post Graduation Work Permit?
It is the post-graduation work permit that will be granted to you once you finish your study program. This work permit is open and full-time. The time of this will be determined depending on the duration of the study program. These are the requirements to apply:
- Have completed a program of study at a government-eligible institution, of minimum duration 8 months and leading to a diploma degree, graduate certificate or master’s degree.
- You maintained full-time student status in Canada during each academic session of the program of study you completed.
- You received your qualifications and an official letter from the eligible DLI confirming that you met the requirements to complete your program of study.
Once graduated and with your PGWP in hand, your main task is to find a job in a (NOC) 0, A or B and above all stay in it for a certain time.
Depending on the migratory program to which you best fit, you can continue polishing your profile to apply and receive your invitation to be a Permanent Resident in the country of the maple leaf.
