Canadian Work Experience
You must have at least one year of full-time work experience (or an equivalent amount of part-time work) in Canada, in an occupation classified under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) as TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 within the three years prior to your application.
Language Skills
Language Skills
You must demonstrate proficiency in English or French through recognized language tests such as IELTS or TEF. A minimum level in all language abilities (listening, reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
The skills you need depend on the group in which your job is classified according to the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system.

The first step is to create an online profile where you will provide details about your education, work experience, language skills, and other factors considered in the CRS.

Your profile will receive a CRS score based on various criteria. Candidates with the highest scores in the Express Entry pool are the ones who will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.
Processing
Once the complete application is submitted, the average processing time is approximately six months, making Express Entry one of the fastest ways to obtain permanent residency in Canada.
